How booking works
How members make bookings, and how you create or view them from the dashboard.
When a member books
- They open your booking site and sign in (phone + OTP).
- They pick a sport, then a court, then a date.
- CourtBook shows the available slots — calculated from your operating hours, slot length, existing bookings, and any court blocks.
- They confirm. The slot is instantly reserved and they (and you) can see it.
Members are held to your booking rules — slot length, daily limit, and how far ahead they can book.
Managing bookings as an admin
In Bookings you can:
- See every booking across all courts and dates
- Create a booking on a member's behalf (handy for phone/walk-in requests)
- Cancel any booking
- Filter by court, date, or member
Admins aren't limited by member rules. You can book outside the advance window or past a member's daily limit from the dashboard — useful for staff handling special cases.
No double-bookings
A given court/date/time can only be held once. CourtBook prevents two people grabbing the same slot, even at the same instant.
