CourtBook Docs

How booking works

How members make bookings, and how you create or view them from the dashboard.

When a member books

  1. They open your booking site and sign in (phone + OTP).
  2. They pick a sport, then a court, then a date.
  3. CourtBook shows the available slots — calculated from your operating hours, slot length, existing bookings, and any court blocks.
  4. They confirm. The slot is instantly reserved and they (and you) can see it.

Members are held to your booking rules — slot length, daily limit, and how far ahead they can book.

Managing bookings as an admin

In Bookings you can:

  • See every booking across all courts and dates
  • Create a booking on a member's behalf (handy for phone/walk-in requests)
  • Cancel any booking
  • Filter by court, date, or member

Admins aren't limited by member rules. You can book outside the advance window or past a member's daily limit from the dashboard — useful for staff handling special cases.

No double-bookings

A given court/date/time can only be held once. CourtBook prevents two people grabbing the same slot, even at the same instant.
