Events & tournaments

Create events and tournaments that members can register for, with optional court blocking on publish.

Events & Tournaments let you create structured play sessions — from friendly matches to full tournaments — that members can register for.

Events are off by default — go to Team → Roles and make sure staff have the events.view and events.manage permissions to see the Events pages.

Create an event

  1. Go to Events in the dashboard sidebar.

  2. Click Create event and fill in:

    • Name — a title members will see
    • Description — optional details about the event
    • Sport — which sport the event is for
    • Date range — start and end dates
    • Registration deadline — optional cut-off date for signups
    • Capacity — max number of participants (0 = unlimited)
    • Fee — optional entry fee in rupees (payment collection deferred)
    • Format — choose the tournament style:
      • Single elimination / Round robin / League / Friendly
    • Auto-block courts — when enabled, publishing the event blocks all courts for the selected sport for the full duration of the event
  3. Save — the event starts as Draft.

Publish an event

When you're ready to open registration:

  1. Open the event from the Events list.
  2. Click Publish to change its status to Open.
  3. If Auto-block courts was enabled, all courts for the event's sport will be booked for each day of the event's date range, ensuring the courts are available for play.

Members will see the event on the club's Events page and can register.
