Recurring bookings

Set up standing booking schedules that repeat automatically.

Recurring bookings let you set up a standing schedule — for example, a member's weekly tennis lesson every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — and have the system automatically create the individual bookings each time.

This feature is available from the dashboard's Bookings section.

Create a recurring booking

  1. Go to Bookings → Recurring bookings (or + New recurring booking).
  2. Choose the court, member, and optionally a dependent.
  3. Set the schedule:
    • Which days of the week (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
    • How often (every 1 week, every 2 weeks, etc.)
    • The date range (start to end)
    • The time slot (start and end time)
  4. Add an optional note.
  5. Save — bookings are generated immediately for the full date range.

How generation works

  • On create — all matching booking records are created for the forward window.
  • On unpause or schedule change — any future bookings from the old schedule are cleared, and new ones are generated from scratch.
  • Manual generation — you can trigger re-generation from the recurring booking's detail page at any time.
  • Idempotent — if a slot already has a booking (e.g. another booking already exists at that time), it's silently skipped, never duplicated.

Pause or archive

You can pause a recurring booking (it stops generating new slots but keeps the schedule) or archive it (removes it from the active list). Pausing does not cancel already-generated bookings — they remain on the calendar.
