Booking rules

Control slot length, how far ahead members can book, daily limits, and cancellation deadlines.

Booking rules shape how members book. Find them in Settings → Booking rules.

The four key rules

  • Slot duration — how long each bookable slot is (e.g. 30 or 60 minutes). Your operating hours are divided into slots of this length.
  • Max bookings per day — how many bookings one member can make in a single day.
  • Max advance booking days — how far into the future members can book (e.g. 7 days ahead).
  • Cancellation deadline (hours) — how many hours before a booking a member is still allowed to cancel it themselves.

Example

Slot duration 60 min, hours 6 am–10 pm, max 2 bookings/day, advance 7 days, cancellation deadline 4 hours.

A member sees hourly slots, can hold up to 2 per day, can book up to a week ahead, and can cancel up to 4 hours before start.

Tips

  • Shorter slots = more flexibility but more slots to manage.
  • A tighter cancellation deadline reduces last-minute no-shows but is less forgiving.
  • These rules apply to member bookings. As an admin you can always book or cancel from the dashboard regardless of these limits.
