Staff & logins

Give your team their own dashboard logins, created by you.

You (the Owner) can give staff their own logins so they don't share yours. Manage them in Team.

Create a staff login

  1. Go to Team → Add staff.
  2. Enter their name and choose a username (must be unique across CourtBook).
  3. Set a temporary password.
  4. Assign a role (what they're allowed to do — see Roles & permissions).

Hand them the username and temporary password. On first login they must set a new password of their own.

Staff vs. Owner

  • The Owner (you) can do everything, including billing and managing the team.
  • Staff can only do what their role allows.
  • Staff can sign in at the usual dashboard login using their username (they don't need an email).

Removing or pausing access

  • Deactivate a staff member to instantly block their access (they stay on file).
  • Edits and deactivations take effect immediately — even if they're currently signed in.

Owner-only areas. Billing, the team itself, and roles can only be managed by the Owner — they can't be handed to staff.
